The Society offers support for its members at all championship shows, in the form of attractive rosettes in the Society colours of deep purple and light lilac. There are many trophies offered to members winning classes at the annual show, which also boasts holding a grand finale of Best in Show, sadly missing from many shows now.

As its name suggests, the Society caters for the Chinchilla, Silver Tabby and Smoke breeds. It also caters for Golden Persians, for which it undertook the work of gaining recognition and Championship status. The Society also provides classes at its own show for Exotic shorthairs of the Society’s colours.
